Feeds to Follow #2
Here are this month's five Insta-picks to follow, from the most amazing vintage Vivienne Westwood seller to one of my favorite Parisian stylists!
I truly consider the 1400+ feeds I follow on Instagram a highly curated pack of people that inspire me on the daily basis. And I openly confess that I might spend way too much time on browsing my feed, but even if it seems to be a form of leisure, it’s 90% work-connected! And well, I love beautiful things that please my eyes and intriguing people that stimulate my mind, both IRL and digital. So, I decided to start sharing with you from time to time my favorite accounts I follow and which you might also fancy following. Here are this month’s five picks!
It always kind of triggers me when I see all these Instagram feeds that post scans from old magazines, but never give credits. OMC is different. Not only the author of this fashion imagery archive captions every image, from the photographer to the make-up artist behind it, but they also post the most amazing throwbacks from 70s Japanese mags, the rarest Guy Bourdin editorials and some of the dreamiest images from 80s L’Officiel. A must follow if you ask me!
Here’s a pick dedicated to my Polish readers. There’s a really worrying shortage of magazines in Poland that write about art, film and music in a truly intriguing and witty (!) way. Aleksander Hudzik’s Mint Magazine is definitely refreshing the format. The way he smashed that Picasso exhibition at National Museum of Warsaw is just brilliant. Looking forward to each new recap of “the week in culture”!

It’s nearly a year since Dame Vivienne Westwood passed away. I miss her so, so much. It’s definitely worth highlighting the most amazing archive of Westwood’s garments: Iconic Archive. “Iconic” is really the right word to describe it.
This vintage seller – doing a museum’s work! - has the rarest runway pieces dating back to Vivienne’s first collections, as well as the most delightful corsets and pirate jackets. Whatever they post, I’m gagging. Also love seeing some archival Agent Provacateur as a complement of the Westwood universe (people forget that the brand’s founder, Joseph Corré, is Vivienne’s son).
Manuela Pavesi’s body of work has finally found its digital home. Curated by Davide Rizzini, this very important feed showcases the late Italian fashion editor, photographer and Miuccia Prada’s “right-hand woman” contribution to fashion. These images melt my heart.
There’s also one incredible Parisian stylist I love to follow, behind the paywall…
